KARACHI: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce Industry (FPCCI) President Engr. Daroo Khan Achakzai appointed Amir Aslam Malik of M/s Amer Traders (Pvt) Ltd, 46-Babar Block, New Garden Town, Lahore and Sajid Aziz Meer proprietor of M/s Meer Brothers International, 114-McLeod Road Lahore as convener and deputy convener of FPCCI’s central standing committee on “dry ports” for the year 2019.
FPCCI authorized both the newly appointed deputy conveners to select and appoint professional and experienced persons throughout the country as members (maximum nine) on committee from the relevant field/ sector within seven days.
FPCCI also advised that the committee should hold at least one meeting in a quarter and a summary/actions taken by the committee may be furnished to the president for the information of the executive committee.
FPCCI president expressed hope that they will spare sufficient time for achieving the objectives of the committee, and assured his full cooperation in this regard.
