FPCCI delegation visit, welcomes RCCI joining BMP group

RAWALPINDI: A delegation of FPCCI led by Chairman Irfan Iqbal Sheikh, Chairman Businessmen Panel & former President FPCCI Mian Anjum Nisar visited the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).

The delegation includes FPCCI officials, former president FPCCI Haji Ghulam Ali, Hina Mansab Khan Chairperson FPCCI Women Wing, Vice President Mohammad Nadeem Qureshi, Chief Coordinator, Mirza Abdul Rehman, Vice President Umar Masood ur Rehman, Mian Muhammad Ali Former President Lahore Chamber and President Islamabad Small Chamber of Commerce and Industry Muhammad Zahid and Neelam Khalid and Uzma Shahid from Women Chamber Rawalpindi. President Nadeem Rauf, Group Leader Sohail Altaf, Senior Vice President Asim Malik, Vice President Talat Awan, Former Presidents Executive Members and Chamber Members were also present on the occasion.

FPCCI Chairman Irfan Iqbal Sheikh and Chairman BMP Mian Anjum Nisar said that “We feel pride and honor that the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce joined the Businessmen Panel Group. We desired and have been trying for a long time to get the Rawalpindi Chamber to join the PMP group. We appreciate the principled position of the senior leadership of the RCCI. There is no doubt that the Rawalpindi Chamber is an active chamber and an effective voice of the business community. We have long wanted the Rawalpindi Chamber to be part of the BMP which was fulfilled today.

Chairman FPCCI Irfan Iqbal Sheikh congratulated the leadership of Rawalpindi Chamber on joining the Businessmen Panel and said that this participation would help in resolving the issues facing the business community of the country, formulating budget recommendations and formulating policies. There is no doubt that the RCCI has emerged as an effective voice in important forums across the country, including the promotion of trade activities, trade fairs and the holding of business conferences abroad, he said.
