FPCCI hails govt, LEAs for maintain law and order situation on Ashura

LAHORE: Candidate for President of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) Mian Anjum Nisar and Chairman PIAF malik Tahir Javed have hailed the government and law enforcement agencies for maintaining law and order situation during Ashura days.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Mian Anjum Nisar and Malik Tahir Javed said that religious scholars and the people of the province were also praiseworthy for maintaining law and order in the month of Muharram.

He said that on the occasion of Ashura, all people belonging to different schools of thought expressed their tolerance, brotherhood and mutual understanding and foiled the ulterior motives of the enemies of the country.

He said that the government and Armed Forces made strict security measures to maintain law and order in country and the coordination between the departments were very effective.

Mian Anjum Nisar said that good law and order situation is must to promote economic activities in the country therefore, all segments of society should play their vital role in this regard.

He said that government was moving in right direction and not only putting in its best efforts to bring economy back on rail but also providing relief to the masses. He said that massive cut in POL prices is a good step but government should also bring down the electricity tariff.

Mian Anjum Nisar also urged the government to ensure uninterrupted gas supply to the industry.
