FPCCI President Adrees meets Finance Minister Dar

FAISLABAD: Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry President (FPCCI) Mian Muhammad Adrees met with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and discussed the matter regarding the imposition of 0.3 percent tax on banking transaction.

Dar said in the meeting that dispute over the imposition of withholding tax will be resolved keeping in view the suggestions and concerns of the business community.

He said that government was making deliberations to tackle the issue and also trying to make it acceptable for all.

It is important to mention here that traders from all over the country showed serious concerns over the imposition of the 0.3 withholding tax on bank transaction and also took the streets on August 1 against it.

Now government has made three committees to address the issues of the business community.
