FPCCI presidential poll: Bilour supports candidate of United Business Group in KP

LAHORE: The United Business Group (UBG) believes in democracy and taking all decisions with consensus. The group always nominates and support people of high integrity, honesty and professional commitment with a strong will to addressing challenges faced by the business community.

This was stated by UBG Chairman Iftikhar Malik while addressing a uncheon held in his honour by Businessmen Forum (BF) led by Senator Ilyas Ahmed Bilour.

On the occasion, BF head Senator Bilour announced full support for Mian Adrees, UBG Presidential candidate for Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) election scheduled to be held on December 29, 2014.

The luncheon was attended by KPCCI President Fawad Ishaq, KP Women Chamber of Commerce President, presidents of different chambers of commerce and industries and representatives of various traders associations from all over the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Senator Bilour declared that business community of KP province fully supported the UBG in Presidential election of FPCCI.

In his address Mr Malik claimed that 127 voters out of 160 of FPCCI electoral college had assured to support UBG candidate.

The FPCCI, he said, would be made an effective forum for resolution of the genuine problems of the businessmen and traders community. On this occasion, he also announced not to take any perks and privileges available to the office of President FPCCI.

Former Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce president and Industry and Presidential Candidate of UBG for FPCCI elections, Mian Adrees thanked the community for reposing confidence in him for the coming election and assured to come up to their expectations.
