FST adjourns hearing of cases filed by FBR employees until May 15

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Monday granted an adjournment in a case of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on a request submitted on behalf of the board’s member administration and legal.

Advocate Ishtiaq had filed adjournment application before the FST Bench, comprising Muhammad Arshad Bhatti and Syed Rafique Hussain Shah  and  Nazir Saeed.  As a result, the tribunal adjourned the hearing until May 15. Appellant, Muhammad Siddique, had filed the petition, challenging his dismissal form services.

Meanwhile, other benches of FST also heard cases filed by FBR employees.  A bench comprising  acting chairman, Kazi Afaq Hossain and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi heard the filed by Ejaz Ahmed Bajwa. In this case the appellant had raised a matter his “seniority” which was yet not granted to him at FBR.

Member Syed Rafique Hussain Shah  and Syed Muhammad Hamid heard the “review” matters filed by Zaheer Iqbal , Mohammad Naeem Khan and a seniority matter filed by Aleem Ahmed and adjourned hearing till next month.
