FST adjourns hearing of 10 cases filed by FBR employees

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Tuesday simply adjourned the hearing of 10 cases, challenging different administrative measures taken by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

Two divisional benches of the FST, first comprising Ishtiaq Ahmed and Dr Nazir Saeed and second comprising M Arshad Bhatti and M Javed Iqbal Kasi heard the cases and adjourned the same for third week of October.

The first bench heard and adjourned cases filed by Akbar Ali Shad, Qaiser Khan, Muhammad Asfandyar Janjua, Shafqat Mahmud, Khalid Mehmood and Muhammad Hamayon, who had submitted complaints regarding ‘seniority’ and promotion.

Another bench of FST, comprising M Arshad Bhatti and M Javed Iqbal Kasi also adjourned hearing of cases about ‘implementation’ filed by Sardar Ghayas, Muhammad Amir Farooq and Muhammad Amir Farooq. The benches would resume hearing in October 24.
