FST adjourns hearing of cases filed by FBR employees

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of over a dozen cases filed against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for not granting ‘promotion’ and ‘seniority’ to its employees.

A division bench of the FST comprising members, Muhammad Arshad Bhatti and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi, heard the cases regarding ‘promotion’ filed by appellants, Naimat Ullah, Tahir Aslam, Atta Muhammad, Abdul Ali and Amjad Ali and adjourned the hearing until June.

FST bench comprising Nazir Saeed and Ishtiaq Ahmed also adjourned hearing of cases of “special allowance’ filed by FBR employees Shafqat Rasool, M Naeem, Faizullah, Zafar Iqbal, Saleem Ismail, M Asif, Umer Khatab and others. The tribunal would resume hearing of these cases in fourth week of May.
