FST adjourns hearing of complaints filed by FBR employees

ISLAMABAD: A division bench of the Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Wednesday issued notices to the Federal Board of Revenue in cases seeking grant of time-scale.

FST Bench comprising Syed Rafique Hussain, Syed Muhammad Hamid heard the cases filed by employees of the Federal Board of Revenue.

Around 40 appellants had filed complaints regarding grant of time-scale including Mansoor Ahmed, Nadeem Khan, Khuram Azam, Babar Ahmed, Naheed Sultana and others.

They had submitted that board administration had not heard their petition in this regard. Hence, the tribunal may issue an appropriate direction to the board in this regard.

Meanwhile, the bench also heard a promotion matter filed by M Iqbal.  Hearing on this case was adjourned by the bench.  M Iqbal had filed an Implementation matter which was pending before the tribunal since months.
