ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Friday dated in office the hearing of complaints about ‘implementation’ and ‘promotion’ filed by the employees of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

The FST benches comprising Justice (r) Syed Zahid Hussain and Syed M Hamid and Syed Rafique Hussain and Syed M Hamid heard cases. Both the benches would hear these cases again in coming month of January 2017.

Justice (r) Syed Zahid Hussain and Syed M Hamid heard cases filed by Akbar Ali Shad and Qaiser Khan. The bench adjourned the hearing of these cases. The appellants had filed these complaints against the FBR administration.

These appellants had also filed submissions about ‘implementation’ and had prayed the tribunal to direct the board on fulfilling tribunal’s former orders regarding their submissions.

They had complained about board’s lethargy and submitted that the board administration had not taken bench’s order serious and did not compiled the orders.  They asked the tribunal to bring justice to them by ensuring implementation over the tribunal’s orders.

It is pertinent to mention that a large number of complaints is pending with the tribunal carrying similar substance. Almost all the appellants had asked the tribunal to take strict notice of board’s weariness about the employee affairs.

The later bench heard another case filed by Yousaf Khan, Ghulam Hasnain, Ali Shah, Ghulam Jamil, Nisar Ahmed Bangash and others.

Nisar had filed a complaint about promotion. He had recently filed the petition. The department had yet not filed any objections over the matter. Hearing on this case was also adjourned for next week.
