FST adjourns hearing of 8 FBR officials’ cases seeking relief

ISLAMABAD: Federal Service Tribunal on Monday adjourned hearing of eight FBR officials’ cases seeking relief from the services appellate tribunal.

FST Division Bench, comprising of Arshad Bhatti and Javed Iqbal Kasi heard cases filed by Junaid Usman. Bench adjourned hearing till November 26 after hearing arguments.

The petitioner had filed the case seeking implementation over FST’s decision which was yet not realized by FBR.

Another Division Bench of FST, comprising of members Syed Rafique Shah and Muhammad Hamid took up the promotion cases. Bench adjourned the hearing of as many as six cases till November 11 after hearing appellants’ and respondents’ counsels.

FBR officials, Abdul Qayyum, Abdul Haleem, Sardar Hayat, Sabz Khan, Riaz Hussain, Khalil-ur-Rehman and M Riaz had filed separate petitions at FST for promotion relief.
