ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) has maintained extensive hearing of cases during the fourth week of July related to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).
Three division benches of the FST comprising members Ishtiaq Ahmed, Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi, Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Nazir Saeed and Syed Rafique Hussain Shah, Nazir Saeed and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi heard the cases filed by the FBR employees during the week.
FBR employees had filed cases of differing nature which included cases about employees ‘promotion’, ‘seniority’, ‘special allowances’ and ‘implementation.’ However, the benches adjourned hearing of most cases for further arguments or submission of documents.
Division Bench comprising of members Ishtiaq Ahmed and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi head cases filed by Amjid Ali, Shahzad Muhammad Amir, Ali Gohar, Shahid, Syed Jamil Shah, Mehboob Ali Khan, Muhammad Ishfaq, Asadullah, Gohar Zaman, Attaullah Khattak, Muhammad Ashraf, , Javed Alam and others.
Two other benches of FST heard and adjourned hearing of cases filed against FBR. Syed Rafique Hussain shah and Nazir Saeed heard the cases filed by Sardar Ghayas, Muhammad Amir Farooq and Muhammad Amir Farooq for implementation; by Muhammad Ishtiaq, Ghulam Ali Sahito and Syed Muhammad Rafi for Interim Relief; and couple of promotion cases filed by Ghulam Akbar Chandio and Lutfur Rehman.
Syed Rafique Hussain Shah, Nazir Saeed and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi heard around promotion 30 cases filed by Faqir Muhammad, Sirajulabdin, Muhammad Khalid, Riaz Ahmed, Khalid Akhtar Abbasi and others. These cases clubbed together and then hearing was adjourned.
