FST adjourns hearing of FBR employees cases till next month

ISLAMABAD: A division bench of the Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of cases filed by employees of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

The bench comprising of FST Chairman Justice (r) Sayed Zahid Hussain and Member Javed Iqbal Kasi heard the cases involving matters of ‘promotion’, ‘dismissal from services’, ‘implementation’ and ‘officiating charge.’

Hearing of implementation and officiating charge matters were filed by Muhammad Sulaman Javed and Adnan Khurshid Cheema, respectively, was adjourned till next month.

Both the employees of the FBR had submitted their cases before the tribunal during 2016 on which the department had yet not filed objections.

The bench dated in office the hearing of cases filed by FBR employees including Attique Ahmed Abbasi, Naseer Ahmed Minhas, Zeeshan Zafar, Mian Muhammad Shahzad, Mian Asif Mehmood, Muhammad Sajid, Ahmad Din, Rizwan Jillani, Muhammad Younas, Muhammad Hussain, Muhammad Rafique, and Abdul Basit. They had filed complaints regarding their promotion at FBR.
