FST bench adjourns hearing of complaints filed by FBR employees

ISLAMABAD: Two division benches of the Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Friday adjourned the hearing of a couple of complaints filed against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

The FST bench comprising members, Arshad Bhatti and M Javed Iqbal Kasi, heard the implementation matter filed by the FBR employee, Muhammad Saleem.

He had filed the petition for implementation of the FST decision given on his petition filed in 2012. The FBR was made party in the case. The bench adjourned the hearing of this case until June 6,2016.

Meanwhile, another bench of FST comprising Syed Zahid Hussain and Syed Rafique Hussain Shah heard the case filed by Abdul Hakim Khan. The bench would resume hearing of the case on 26 of May.

The petitioner has complained against lethargic conduct of FBR for not implementing FST’s decision.
