Ishtiaq Ahmed and Dr Nazir Saeed would implementation complaint filed by Muhammad Sulaman Javed, promotion complaint filed by Shafqat Mahmud and a matter related to seniority filed by Khalid Mehmood.

Ishtiaq Ahmed and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi would hear a single promotion complaint filed by Ahmed Hussain. Hussain had filed this case in 2012 and still was waiting for decision.

FBR board had filed objections on all stated complaints.  Shafqat Mahmud had prayed the tribunal to direct the department to elevate him to higher scale at the board by ordering their promotion as per rules and regulations.

He had complained that the board’s administration that it had not acted upon their application filed before it and was pursuing a policy of ignoring those applications in violation of board’s rules.

He had also prayed the tribunal to decide the cases at the earliest in order to bring justice to them which had been denied despite serving for years at the department.
