FST benches will hear nine cases filed against FBR today

ISLAMABAD: Two division benches of the Federal Service Tribunal (FST) would hear nine cases filed against the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Tuesday.

A division bench of the FST comprising Syed  Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed would hear eight cases filed by Muhammad Ishtiaq, Ghulam Ali Sahito, Syed Muhammad Rafi, Rao Babar Ali Khan , Abdur Rehman Siddiqui, Muhammad Anwar Javed, Muhammad Rafique Mirza and Tanveer Aslam.

These appellants had filed new application at FST and FBR had yet not filed its response against these petitions carrying complaints about promotion matters at the board. The tribunal would check their maintainability tomorrow.

Another bench of FST would hear a single promotion cases filed by Faisal Irshad FBR. The appellant had filed this petition in 2015. FST bench comprising Muhammad Arshad Bhatti and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi would hear the case.
