FST hears cases filed by FBR employees regarding ‘seniority, de-novo inquiry’

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Monday to maintain hearing cases filed by employees of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) submitting complaints pertaining to ‘seniority’ and de-novo inquiry’.

FST Division Bench comprising of Syed Zahid Hussain and Dr Nazir Saeed would hear the cases carrying complaints about ‘seniority’ matters.

The petitioners, Tariq Bela, Asif Jammali, Faiza Bashir, Haider Abbas Abbasi, Imran Zafar, Jawhar Ali Shah and Imran Rafique have submitted that their due seniority was being belated at FBR.

The petitioners have sought tribunal’s directives to the FBR administration for the compliance of law and departmental regulations in this regard.

Another bench of the FST, comprising of Muhammad Arshad Bahtti and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi will hear ‘de-novo inquiry’ cases filed by Pervez Esbhani, Mohabat Khan and Mujeeb Ahmed Hashmi. The bench has been also allotted hearing of Abdur Rasheed Bajwa  case who submitted a complaint about ‘pay and allowances’ through his counsel M Shabbier Bhutta.
