FST hears two cases against FBR in previous week

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal (FST) heard only two service matters relating to the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) during outgoing week of August 2016.

A division bench of the FST comprising Members Muhammad Arshad Bhatti and Syed Rafique Hussain Shah heard the cases carrying submission on promotion and seniority.

These cases had been filed by Imtiaz Ikram and Shafiq Sadiq. They have submitted cases about promotion and seniority respectively. They have submitted that the decisions given by the tribunal regarding their promotion had not been implemented by the board.

They requested the tribunal to ensure implementation of already given decisions and ensure provision of relief to them.

Same bench also adjourned hearing of three service matters on Monday. Appellants had challenged FBR’s administrative measures through these petitions which would be heard again in September.
