FST postpones hearing of cases filed against FBR

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Service Tribunal on Friday adjourned the hearing of cases involving the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

A division bench of the FST comprising  members, Syed Muhammad Hamid and Ishtiaq Ahmed, heard the cases pertaining to “regularization of acting charge of promotion” and up-gradation.

Muhammad Yasin had filed the petition on “regularization of acting charge of promotion” through advocate Muhammad Shabbir Bhutta in which it had made FBR a respondent.

Another petition, which was adjourned for the next month, was carrying matter of up-gradation filed by Amir Riaz. The department had yet not filed objection over both petitions.
