Former appellant had asked the tribunal to direct the FBR administration on ‘extension of study leave’ while the later had submitted a plea pertaining to ‘correction of date of birth’.

The bench also issued directives to counsels involved to ensure their presence before the bench on next hearing. Hearing was adjourned owing to absence of one of the counsels.

It is pertinent to mention that both the cases had been filed during 2016 and yet no objection had been filed by the department on the said petitions seeking extension of study leave as per rule made for government servants.
