FST reserve verdict on case filed by FBR employee

ISLAMABAD: A division bench of the Federal Service Tribunal (FST) on Thursday reserved a decision on a case filed by an employee of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

The FST bench comprising of Members, Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and and Dr Nazir Saeed, heard the case filed by Noureen Safin.

The appellant had filed a complaint regarding promotion. Safin had asked the tribunal direct the board to implement the board’s regulations.

Meanwhile, the bench also heard other cases filed by Amjad Farooq, Naveed Ali Khan, Shahzad Muhammad Aamir, Gohar Ali, Asim Muhammad, Mehboob Ali, Waqar Ahmed, Sayyar Ahmed, Khan Hameed, Adam Khan, Noor Hussain, Muhammad Mukhtiar and others. These appellants had also submitted complaints about promotion.

The bench heard arguments on the cases and adjourned hearing except reserving decision on Safin’s complaint.

Another FST bench comprising of Chairman (r) Syed Zahid Hussain and Syed Muhammad Hamid adjurned hearing of a reference filed by Muhammad SHafique.

The appellant is an employee of Federal Board of Revenue and had filed complaint about correction of record at the board.
