The bench reserved the decision on an application filed by Shafqat Rasool after completing hearing of arguments presented by the counsels involved. While the hearing of another case was adjourned.

The appellant had submitted a complaint about ‘censure’ before the tribunal. The appellant had submitted in the tribunal that he had not disobeyed any rule of board. Therefore, the department could not hold any inquiry after lodging any of such allegations.

The bench would announce its decision on coming days. The counsel of board argued that FBR administration would implement tribunal’s announcement in this regard.

This case was filed in 2015 at tribunal by the appellant. Earlier, another bench of the tribunal had held hearings on the matter. Later, it was transferred to the incumbent bench.
