ISLAMABAD: A division bench of the Federal Service Tribunal (FST) reserved a decision on a complaint filed by an employee of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), challenging ‘removal from services’ during the first week of October.
A division bench of the FST comprising Syed M Hamid and M Javed Iqbal Kasi heard the arguments from both sides and reserved its decision. Syed Salahuddin Gillani had challenged his removal from the service by the FBR administration.
The bench is likely to announce its decision in coming week. The appellant had prayed the tribunal to set aside FBR’s order on removing him from services and reinstate him to the charge. The bench also heard other cases but only reserved decision on the said case.
