FST seeks reply from FBR on complaints filed by employees on Friday

ISLAMABAD: Federal Service Tribunal issued notices to Federal Board of Revenue administration in around a dozen cases filed by employees of FBR seeking payment of special allowance.

FST bench comprising Chairman Justice (r) Syed Zahid Hussain and Dr Nazir Saeed heard around a dozen cases carrying complaints about non-payment of special allowances equal to hundred percent salary of each employ.

Muhammad Tariq, Riaz Saleem, M Amir, Syed Mehdi Husnain, Ghulam Abbas, M Jamil, Aslam Pervaiz, Faisal Idrees, Khalid Hameed, Nazir Ahmed, Moazzam Sohail, Imran Nawaz, Abdul Jabbar, Muhammad Iqbal and others had filed the complaints about release of special allowance equal to 100 percent salary.

The bench the submissions and issued notices to parties including the board. The bench would resume hearing on the matter in coming days again.

Meanwhile, another bench of FST bench comprising Members Syed Rafique Hussain Shah and Dr Nazir Saeed had heard cases including Anjum Waheed, and Said Hussain Abbasi’s complaints on ‘implementation’ while Abdul Sattar’s complaint about ‘withholding of three increments’. This bench also had adjourned hearing on the matters for more arguments.

Ishtiaq Ahmed and M Javed Iqbal Kasi will resume hearing of cases filed by Noor Muhammad, Muhammad Ishtiaque and Aurangzeb challenging reversion. They had filed their cases in 2016.

Another appellant had filed complaint about implementation by Syed Sultan Abbas. Same bench heard the cases asking the tribunal to ensure implementation over its earlier announced decision which was not yet compiled by the board authorities.
