Appellants had challenged administrative measures taken by FBR administration about their promotion. They had complained before the FST for not being granted their due promotion despite serving FBR many years.

During first week of August, a bench of FST comprising Members Ishtiaq Ahmed and Syed Muhammad Hamid heard promotion and implementation matters.

These cases were filed by Muhammad Aslam and Ahmed Hussain. The bench adjourned hearing of these cases.

Another bench of the tribunal comprising Members Muhammad Arshad Bhatti and Muhammad Javed Iqbal Kasi also adjourned hearing due to absence of counsels concerned in a case filed by Rana Sohail Akram.

The appellant re-filed the cases carrying the matter of his upgradation at the FBR. This case was heard in 2014 intitially and appellant’s re-filed petition on the same matter would be heard tomorrow.
