FTA to enhance trade ties between Pakistan, Turkey

SIALKOT: The Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Pakistan and Turkey was at its final stages and early implementation of this direly needed FTA would help to boost the mutual trade ties between Pakistan and Turkey as well, besides, opening the new vistas of Turkish investment in Pakistan.

Central PRGMEA Chairman Ejaz A Khokhar stated this while attending an important “PAK-TURK Investment Round Table” meeting held Islamabad the other day.

Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif agreed on the mutual export potential between Pakistan and Turkey before and after the implementation of the FTA.

Ejaz A Khokhar added that there were bright opportunities of establishing several industrial joint ventures between the businessmen of both Pakistan and Turkey in different trade fields.

He also stressed the need of regular exchange of the mutual trade delegations between Paksitan and Turkey and holding the single country exhibitions of Pakistani and Turkish products there as well.

He said that the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Pakistan and Turkey was in its final stages which would soon be announced by the both of the brotherly countries as well.

Ejaz A Khokhar said that there was a dire need of making all out sincere efforts for promoting the mutual trade ties between Pakistan and Turkey.

Pakistan Readymade Garments Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PRGMEA) has stressed the need of making all out sincere efforts for promoting the mutual trade ties between Pakistan and Turkey.
