FTO Asif Mahmood Jah holds meeting with Member Customs Tariq Huda & Collector Junaid Jalil

ISLAMABAD: Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah held a detailed meeting with Member Customs Operations Tariq Huda and the Collector Junaid Jalil Khan.

According to details the Federal Tax Ombudsman who had recently assumed his charge after retiring from Pakistan Customs Service (PCS) BS-21.

The sources of customs informed Customs Today that FTO is trying to made close liaison with the FBR for the redressed of complaints of the taxpayers and implementation of FTO’s findings/ recommendations.

The sources further informed that during the meeting among high Customs officials and FTO the matters were discussed that how to improve the Customs procedures relating with the tax payers and how the Customs department and Federal Tax Ombudsman could work together for facilitations of business community.
