ISLAMABAD: The Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) has not appointed new advisor (NICAP) since the former in-charge of the seat, Liaqat Munir Rao, had left the office.

Liaqat resigned in October after submitting a 15-day notice for relinquishing the charge.

They also mentioned that FTO has discretionary powers to appoint a new advisor as it was not a sectioned seat.
