FTO Rauf Chaudhry in Karachi to hold hearings at regional office

ISLAMABAD: Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO) Abdur Rauf Chaudhry will arrive in Karachi today on a three-day visit. The FTO will stay in country’s economic hub for three days from April 19 to 21.

During his stay in Karachi, the FTO will hear cases at the FTO regional office besides visiting Customs Department’s offices in the city.

According to the FTO officials, Abdur Rauf Chaudhry was invited by Customs Department where he would be briefed about department’s performance and measures taken to eradicate malpractices in the tax collection. Meanwhile, he would also attend meeting with regions employees.
