RAWALPINDI: Joining Ceremony of  Sohail Altaf Group Leader of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce as Chief FTO Advisor at Federal Tax Ombudsman in Islamabad

The ceremony was well attended by Federal Tax Ombudsman Dr. Asif Mehmood Jah, FTO Officials, DC Islamabad Hamza Shafqat, FPCCI Vice President Qazi Akbar, Islamabad Chamber President Shakeel Munir,Former President ICCI, President of Islamabad Women’s Chamber Ms Naeema,  Small Chamber President Asif Idrees, RCCI Senior Vice President Asim Malik, Vice President Talat Awan, Former Presidents, Executive Committee Members, Anjuman-e-Tajiran representatives , Shahid Ghafoor Paracha, Sheikh Hafeez, Arshad Awan, Sharjeel Mir, Tax Bar Association representatives and ISE Stock Exchange Chairman Zahid Latif Khan participated.

Federal Tax Ombudsman Dr. Asif Jah assured all kinds of cooperation and assistance for establishing the  good relationship between the business community and the Federal Tax Ombudsman. ۔He expressed hoped that Sohail Altaf will use his abilities as Chief Advisor to establish a good relationship between the business community and the Federal Tax Ombudsman.

Group Leader RCCI and Chief Advisor FTO Sohail Altaf said that at present there is a lack of trust between the business community and the tax department which will be addressed. Steps will be taken to increase the number of taxpayers. Complaints will be addressed immediately.

Earlier, Chamber President Nadeem Rauf said that the appointment of Sohail Altaf as Chief FTO Advisor to the entire country and especially to the Rawalpindi Chamber is welcome and an honor for the Chamber.
