FTO’s advisor satisfied with compliance of ‘recommendations’ by FBR

ISLAMABAD: Federal Tax Ombudsman’s Advisor on Implementation and Monitoring (I&M), Muhammad Siddique said that Federal Board of Revenue was conveniently implementing over FTO’s recommendations.

Talking to Customs Today, FTO Advisor on Implementation and Monitoring stated that there was no big issue with implementation by the FBR over directions or recommendations given to it from the FTO office through its decisions.

Muhammad Siddique said FTO office was satisfied with FBR feedback. “It is satisfactory and the FTO office does not think that FBR is not implementing over FTO’s recommendations or directions”.

He said FBR usually comply with directions and recommendations within the specified time and was not giving FTO the chance to reissue the directions in commanding manners.
