Fuel adjustment: Nepra okays Rs 3.94/unit cut in power tariffs for April

ISLAMABAD: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) Thursday approved Rs.3.94 per unit reduction in power tariff for April under monthly fuel adjustment formula.

The regulator approved the tariff reduction on a petition filed by Central Power Purchase Agency (CPPA). The hearing was presided over by Vice Chairman Nepra Himayat Ullah Khan here. However, the reduction would not be applicable to the consumers of K-Electric and those who used upto 300 units.
