Funeral in absentia of DC Qadoos offered at Peshawar Customs

PESHAWAR: The funeral in absentia of Deputy Collector Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) Abdul Qadoos was offered in Peshawar Customs House where large number of staff and high ranking officers were present.

Abdul Qadoos succumbed to his injuries and passed away in hospital few days after he was attacked by the smugglers. The funeral prayers attended by Collector Appraisement Ihsan Ali Shah, Collector Preventive Asif Saeed Lughmani, Director Transit Trade Faiz Ali and others. The deceased belonged to 38 common customs group and was an active person of the customs department.
