FWCCI hails appointment of Mrs. Tahira Safdar as first female CJ of BHC

FAISALABAD. Madam Rubina Amjad President Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FWCCI) has congratulated Mrs. Tahira Safdar on taking oath as the first female Chief Justice of Baluchistan High Court.

In a statement issued here today, she said that the Pakistani women are blessed with best capabilities of head & heart and they are giving excellent results in their respective fields and sectors.

However, she was critical of the male dominant society and said that women are denied of their basic and fundamental rights which are the main cause of decline of our economic and social development.

“Women could give much better results if they were provided equal opportunities in the male dominated society”, she said and added that it would also help in eliminating the abject poverty which is particularly hitting hard weaker and deprived segments of our society.

She hoped that elevation of Mrs. Tahira Safdar as chief justice of Baluchistan High Court will give confidence and encourage the women of Pakistan in general and Baluchistan in particular.

Congratulating Mrs. Tahira Safdar on taking oath as Chief justice of Baluchistan High Court, she has also extended invitation to Mrs. Tahira Safdar to visit FWCCI according to her own convenience and availability of time.
