Gadoon Customs receives Rs14.85m as all duties & taxes during 15 days of August

GADOON: The Customs Station Gadoon collected Rs14.85million of All Duties and Taxes during the 1st to 15th of August Financial Year (FY) 2017-18.

According to details given by sources of Model Customs Collectorate Peshawar that, during above said period, the Gadoon Customs Station earned Rs4.96million of Customs Duty while it did Rs0.02million as Redemption Duty (RD) whereas it received Rs6.70million of Sales Tax on palm oil during August FY 2017-18.
The sources told CT that, during initial 15 days of August FY17-18, the Gadoon generated Rs2.67million as Additional Income Tax (AIT) whereas it got Rs0.50million of Federal Excise Duty on imports (FEDI).
The sources further told that, during corresponding year FY2016-17, the Gadoon earned Rs690.48million of All Duties and Taxes while it did Rs37.55million as CD whereas it generated Rs1.27million of miscellaneous taxes and Gadoon Station did Rs0.05million of RD.
The sources said that, during FY16-17, the Gadoon received Rs3.65 as ST whereas it did Rs13.68million ST on Imports of Palm oil while Gadoon got Rs7.62million of AIT and it earned Rs1.09million of total FED on Imports.
