Gadoon Customs Station generates Rs14.86m as all duties and taxes during August

GADOON: The Customs Station Gadoon earned Rs14.86million of all duties and taxes during the month of August FY2017-18.

According to details given by sources of Customs Station Gadoon while talking with Customs Today that the Gadoon collected Rs4.96million as Customs Duty (CD) while it did Rs6.70million of Sales Tax (ST) VM palm oil. The sources told CT that, during August FY17-18, the Gadoon received Rs2.67million of Additional Income Tax (AIT) whereas it did Rs0.50million as Federal Excise Duty on Imports of per 01 kilogram.
During the corresponding Financial Year FY16-17, the Gadoon generated Rs690.48million of ADT while it did Rs37.55million as CD whereas it got Rs1.27million as miscellaneous taxes and the Gadoon earned Rs0.05million of RD.
The sources further told CT that, during FY16-17, the Gadoon collected Rs3.65million of ST while it did Rs13.68million ST on Imports of Palm oil whereas Gadoon received Rs7.62million as AIT and it did Rs1.09million of total FED on Imports.
