According to the latest survey, business sentiment in Pakistan improved steadily, with 55% of respondents having a positive outlook for their businesses. Over the past six months, business confidence in Pakistan surged by 10%, reinforcing that the economy is moving in the right direction.

It further revealed that a 19% increase in business expectations for the future, signals a positive trend. The perception of economic uncertainty declined by 7%, while confidence in future business prospects has risen by 36%.

The report attributes the rise in business confidence to key factors such as declining inflation and interest rates. Also, a reduction in power outages played a crucial role, with 56% of business owners reporting no load shedding. These findings suggest a renewed sense of optimism in Pakistan’s commercial sector.

Experts regard the Business Confidence Index as a crucial barometer reflecting the sentiments of the business community. Policymakers worldwide rely on such indices to gauge economic trends and formulate strategic decisions.
