Gas & Petroleum (Pak) Ltd to start clearance procedure of imported consignments soon

MULTAN: Gas & Petroleum Pakistan Limited (GO) will start clearance of their imported petroleum products from Multan Dry Port very soon.

Sources told Customs Today, that Multan Dry Port is handling import consignments of the High Speed Diesel (HSD) of PARCO through bonded cargo. A private petroleum company Gas & Petroleum Pakistan Ltd.(GO) has approached Multan Customs for clearance of their imported petroleum products from Multan Dry Port through bonded cargo.

It is necessary to mention here that outstanding services of Multan Customs attracting major oil marketing companies in South Punjab for clearance of their import consignments from Multan Dry Port.

The Gas & Petroleum Pakistan Limited(GO) is setting up bonded warehouse in the location of Mahmood Kot for supply of lubricants to increase company fuel sales in the Southern Punjab region through PARCO pipeline.

Clearance of High Speed Diesel will improve its productivity and reduce downtime for the Gas & Petroleum Pakistan Limited (GO) in their supply in Southern Punjab. The clearance of High Speed Diesel of newly added company will boost the revenue collection of the Customs Collectorate in future and it will also attract other petroleum companies to clear their petroleum products from Multan Dry Port due to geographical importance of South Punjab for the expansion of their businesses.

Attock Oil Company and others oil marketing companies are approaching Multan Customs and trying to clear their import shipments of petroleum products from Multan Dry Port to enhance their supply in the region due to mounting demand.

It is important to mention that 98 % revenue collection of Multan Customs collected from clearance of High Speed Diesel consignments from Multan Dry Port.

Multan Customs authorities are providing best clearance facilities to importers of oil marketing companies for the generation of revenue.
