Pak Arab Fertilizer demands uninterrupted gas supply

MULTAN: The Pak Arab Fertilizer has appealed to the federal government to provide gas for their production.

The Pak Arab Fertilizer Company has been closed for nine months and is facing huge financial losses. Currently, more than 20,000 employees jobs are under threat and the government is also bearing loss worth billion of rupees due to less collection of taxes, the company said..

The Pak Arab Fertilizer demanded of the government to provide gas for their fertilizer production that will save more than Rs 80 billion from the import subsidy of agricultural fertilizer.

The Pak Arab Fertilizer is one of the biggest fertilizer companies in the Pakistan which can fulfil the agricultural needs of the agriculture to a great extent. The company has appealed to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Minister Shahid Khaqaan Abbasi to intervene in this situation and provide them gas.
