KARACHI: Customs Gwadar has recovered 12,000 liters of smuggled Iranian diesel during a crackdown.
Sources told Customs Today that Customs officials received information regarding some smuggling attempts after which a team was constituted which intercepted a oil tanker and recovered 12,000 liters of smuggled Iranian diesel. The Customs officials also arrested a person who was identified as Munir Khan.
During another crackdown, the customs authorities intercepted a Mazda vehicle and recovered 105 watches of fine quality from the hidden captives of seats. The market value of seized wathces are in millions of rupees.
