GB CM discusses development schemes with Asad Umar

ISLAMABAD: Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman called on Finance Minister Asad Umar here on Friday and apprised him of different development schemes in GB.

The CM shared with Asad Umar the financial requirements in different areas.

During the meeting they both expressed agreement that there was great potential for development in the spheres of hydro energy and tourism.

The chief minister said that steps were being taken to develop the tourism sector in GB and added that road connectivity within GB as well as with KP, would facilitate achieving this objective.

The finance minister assured the GB chief minister full support for various schemes particularly in the spheres of hydro energy and tourism sector development.
