GB Customs given Rs 211.5m target for December

ISLAMABAD: The Model Customs Collectorate, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), has been assigned the revenue target of Rs 211.5 million under the head of customs duty, sales tax and withholding tax for month of December.

Assistant Collector Akbar Jan told Customs Today that the GB Customs has been assigned the revenue target for December and it will definitely surpass the target due to augmented efforts and vigilance.

He said that the department has been assigned a customs duty target of Rs 102 million, sales tax target o Rs 81.5 million and withholding tax target of Rs 28 million for December this fiscal year.

He said that GB had also been assigned the sales tax target of Rs 81.5 million for the month of October and November. The withholding tax target for November was Rs 41 million and October was Rs 35 million.
