GCCI delegation calls on chairman FBR

ISLAMABAD: A delegation of the Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) led by Mr. Humais Gulzar Mughal, Senior Vice President of GCCI visited FBR Headquarter and met Mr. Asim Ahmad Chairman, FBR. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Mukarram Jah Ansari, Member Customs Operations.

The representatives of GCCI highlighted the issues faced by their members including early payment of Sales Tax refunds, import of motors scrap, delay in clearance of their goods due to SBP’s FE regulations and 100% cash margin restriction on import of aluminum scrap.

Similarly, Member Customs Operations explained the procedure of clearance at import stage and the reason of practice in vogue.
