SIALKOT: Gujranwala Electric Power Company (Gepco) has decided to send the cases of its chronic defaulters to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for the early recovery of the outstanding dues of millions of rupees.
According to the Gepco Chief Executive Zahur Ahmed Chohan, Gepco has stepped up the pace of its ongoing campaign against the old and new defaulters in Gujranwala Division, saying Rs 328 million were pending against the defaulters.
He said that Gepco has repeatedly sent the recovery notices to these defaulters for payment of their dues but they were reluctant to clear their dues. He said that the cases of chronic defaulters would soon be sent to NAB.
