Germany wants more strengthen trade ties with Pakistan: Envoy

ISLAMABAD: German ambassador to Pakistan Bernhard Schlagheck called on Adviser to Prime Minister on Revenue Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh today.

During the meeting with Hafeez Shaikh and Germany envoy discussed in details to expand and strengthen bilateral trade and investment opportunities between the two countries.

Adviser to Prime Minister also apprised German ambassador about the investment opportunities available in Pakistan for German businessmen. He also informed about current deficit account and reforms in social security department.

The adviser also invited German entrepreneurs to participate in the trade exhibitions, as regular exchange of business delegations would help explore business opportunities in both countries.

Ambassador Bernhard Schlagheck expressed satisfaction over bilateral trade and economic relations and agreed to enhance the level of existing bilateral relations. He also informed the adviser that a delegation of German businessmen would visit Pakistan to explore more business opportunities.
