SINGAPORE: Berlin-based Glispa Global Group, a mobile advertising technology firm with officers in Singapore, Bangalore and Beijing, has acquired Avocarrot, as part of its aim to further bolster its native advertising monetisation business for app developers. Avocarrot is a programmatic SSP and Ad Exchange focused on in-app native advertising based in San Francisco and Athens, with a “high-growth native advertising Supply-Side Platform (SSP) leveraging programmatic advertising and Real-Time-Bidding (RTB) technologies,” that automates trading of mobile advertising.

“This is a key time in ad tech for a powerful player to cut through the noise in the app economy. Glispa’s strong advertising footprint across 187 countries and our leading technology in programmatic native monetization provides tremendous value for our existing and future app partners. We couldn’t be more excited to join forces with Glispa.” said Avocarrot co-founder Conno Christou. The acquisition will provide a significant boost to its technical expertise, with the addition of the four Avocarrot technical founders – Conno Christou, Georgios Makkoulis, Giorgos Eracleous, and Panagiotis Papa.
