Global entertainment buys into UK promoter Broadwick live

LONDON: Global Entertainment, the content creation arm of Ashley Tabor’s Global, is getting into the festivals business. It has acquired a ‘significant strategic stake’ in UK promoter Broadwick Live.

Broadwick Live has created popular annual festivals including Snowbombing in Mayrhofen, Austria, which took place in April this year headlined by Rudimental (pictured) and Skrillex.

It also runs Festival No.6 in North Wales, which will be held in September this year and headlined by Belle & Sebastian and Grace Jones.

In addition, Broadwick runs branded music events such as the successful Bacardi Triangle.

The deal is Global Entertainment’s first UK acquisition.
