Gold price drops by Rs750 per tola

LAHORE: The price of gold has taken a record leap on Saturday, and decreased by Rs750 per tola.

According to details, gold prices in markets of Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, Faisalabad, Multan, Sukkur, Hyderabad and others decreased further to Rs750, after which the price of gold per tola stands at Rs84,500.

On Dec 5, the price of 24 karat gold plunged by Rs100 and was traded at Rs85,350 per tola, as compared to Rs85,450 on last trading day.

According to Karachi Sarafa Association, likewise, the price of 10 gram gold witness decrease of Rs86 and was traded at Rs73,174 against last closing of Rs73, 260.

The price of silver remained stable and was traded at Rs1000 per tola and that of 10 gram silver was traded at Rs857.34.
