KARACHI: The price of 24 karat gold witnessed sharp increase Rs2,500 on Friday and was traded at highest-ever rate of Rs132,000 as against its trading at Rs129,500 the previous day.
Likewise, the price of 10 gram gold also witnessed increase of Rs2,144 and was trade at Rs113,169 against its sale at Rs111,025, Karachi Sarafa Association reported.
The price of per tola silver increased by Rs60 and was traded at Rs1,710 against its price at Rs1,650 whereas that of 10 gram silver went up by Rs51.44 and was sold at Rs1466.04 compared to Rs1414.60.
The gold prices in the international market increased by US$4 and was traded at $2054 against $2050 on Thursday, the association reported
