NEW YORK: Google has rolled out the Android 5.1 update for Nexus and Google Play edition (GPe) devices. Over the last few days, Moto G GPe, HTC One M8 GPe, and LG G Pad 8.3 GPe have received the Android 5.1 updates and now, the search giant has rolled-out the same update for Nexus 7 (2012) 3G model and Sony Z Ultra GPe.
The update is now available over-the-air and will reach these two devices over the coming days. If you don’t like waiting, you can always go to Settings > About Phone > Software update to manually check for the update.
The update brings performance enhancements, stability improvements, bug-fixes and couple of small features.
